In perspective...: Cascade Lake Camping Trip

We went camping the end of July, beginning of August with my sister Marty, brother in law John, their son, Johnny, wife Dani and daughter Lily, also their daughter Misty, her husband Danny, their boys Asher and Austin. Chinell's friend Tahnee also went with us. The water was great for those skiing and wake boarding, the weather was great and the water pretty warm. We had a great campsite near the water and our own little beach. This was after we had set up four of our tents at a different spot and had to carry them to this site when it opened! It was well worth the transfer!! The site was surrounded with trees, so plenty of shade during the day and our little beach was sunny in the morning and shaded in the afternoon! It was great! Clint got to take his new fishing boat out. It didn't sink!! He started building it about 4 years ago and finished it up to take with us. I think he still wants to do a little work on it, but its a pretty good little boat! Chinell finally got up on the wake board, the expression on her face when she did get up was priceless! I think she was as surprised as anyone! The water would be glass for awhile, then get real choppy, then back to glass within a short time, so one of her rides was pretty choppy and she still did a great job! We were all sooo proud of her for not giving up and getting it! She said she was mad because it was so easy to get up, she didn't know why it was so hard, other than her trying to hard, I think!! Anyway, it was exciting to see her up! She had a few rides, then Devin went then she took another turn!
