Summer

I, for one, am ready for summer weather!! It was cold, windy, rainy and miserable here yesterday. We went to Spring Valley to take Clint's mom fishing for Mother's Day and to have a picnic with his family and we were all frozen. They did catch some fish, so I guess that helped! Today is gray and cold also! I just want some nice warm weather!
I heard from the firm in Boise, they hired someone else, so I didn't get the internship. Maybe next summer! I was pretty ok with this, it would have been a great opportunity and I wouldn't have passed it up, but I wanted to stay home this summer also. I had already made some plans, so I would have had to cancel them or try to get time off right away, so I think it worked out. I would love to work for this firm for a summer though, so I will try again next summer. I will probably apply to several firms and be more aggressive next summer. This firm was a small one, but they specialize in LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) so that would have been good to learn about and just having some experience would be good! oh well.......
I'm recharging the battery on my camera, than I will post some pictures of our little fishing trip, up until my batteries died! I have a picture of Devin with his new car, so I'll post that as well... he's pretty proud of it!
